Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Savvyeo platform ("Service") operated by Savvyeo ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Savvyeo is an AI-powered WordPress SEO automation platform. The Service allows you to connect WordPress websites, generate AI-optimized SEO metadata (titles, descriptions, schema markup), image alt text, and blog content, and deploy these optimizations to your WordPress sites via the WordPress REST API.

2. Account Requirements

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide a valid email address and create a password
  • Have administrative access to the WordPress sites you connect
  • Ensure the WordPress sites you connect are sites you are authorized to manage

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service is offered through tiered subscription plans with monthly billing. Each plan includes specific usage limits (number of sites, SEO pages, images, articles, keywords tracked, etc.) as described on our Pricing page.

Additional usage beyond your plan's limits is available through recurring add-ons ($7–$10/month) and top-up credits ($10 each). Add-on quotas reset monthly. Top-up credits do not expire and are consumed on a usage basis.

Payments are processed by Razorpay (India) or Stripe (international), depending on your billing country. We do not store payment card details — all payment information is handled directly by the payment processor.

4. Usage Limits & Fair Use

Each subscription tier includes specific monthly usage limits. Usage is tracked per billing cycle and resets at the start of each new cycle. If you exceed your plan's limits, you will be prompted to purchase add-ons or upgrade your plan.

We reserve the right to throttle or suspend accounts that engage in automated abuse of the Service, including but not limited to: programmatic triggering of scans outside normal UI usage, connecting sites you do not have authorization to manage, or using the Service to generate spam content.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the content on your WordPress sites and the content you provide to the Service (brand context, expertise briefs, source materials).

AI-Generated Content: SEO metadata (titles, descriptions, schema markup), image alt text, and articles generated by the Service are created for your use. You may use, modify, and publish this content without restriction.

Our Platform: The Savvyeo platform, including its code, design, algorithms, and documentation, is our proprietary property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

6. WordPress Integration

The Service connects to your WordPress sites via the WordPress REST API using Application Passwords or the Savvyeo Connector Plugin. By connecting a site, you authorize the Service to:

  • Read page and post content for AI analysis
  • Read and write SEO metadata fields (title, meta description, schema markup)
  • Read and write image alt text
  • Create draft posts (Content Engine feature)

You may disconnect any site at any time from your Savvyeo dashboard. Disconnection immediately revokes the Service's access to that site.

7. Availability & Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Support is available via email at support@savvyeo.com. We aim to respond to inquiries within 24 hours on business days.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle
  • No further charges will be made
  • Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation
  • After 30 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted
  • Unused top-up credits are forfeited upon account deletion

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will improve your search rankings or website performance.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate spam content or engage in black-hat SEO practices
  • Connect websites you are not authorized to manage
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
  • Circumvent usage limits through automated means
  • Resell access to the Service without our written permission
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be provided.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
